6 Steps to Teach a Skill: How to Prepare for a Rave

For this project, I was tasked with creating a set of six illustrated instructions to teach a skill, with full creative freedom. I chose to design a six-step guide on 'How to Prepare for a Rave.' The project was crafted using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and finalized in InDesign to create a print-ready document.

The color palette was inspired by laser light shows and rave culture, with hues commonly seen in EDM branding. I wanted to evoke that vibrant, energetic atmosphere through the design.

For the typeface, I chose a playful, widescreen style that complemented the project's theme. Additionally, I drew inspiration from 'Kandi,' the beaded bracelets in rave culture that feature phrases and words. I incorporated letter beads as a creative interpretation of typeface, adding a unique touch to the design.
